Meanwhile, BCB president Aminul Islam Bulbul has reaffirmed that the board’s decision to host the match in India remains unchanged. He stated that Bangladesh will not alter its stance despite any requests from the ICC, highlighting the board’s firm position on the matter.
The T20 World Cup, jointly organized by India and Sri Lanka, is scheduled to begin on February 7. The tournament is expected to draw major attention, and both boards are keen on ensuring smooth arrangements while balancing diplomatic sensitivities.
